Celebrated French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand exhibited his remarkable collection of images taken throughout an equally impressive career in Cinelândia's Praça Floriano as part of the Rio +20 conference-induced environmental awareness season. First shown in Paris back in 2000, the name - The Earth Viewed From The Sky - really only tells half the story, the impact of the huge photos showing nature at its most artistic (and often man at its most destructive) making for some awe-inspiringly beautiful images. The set of more than 130 huge (2m x 1.4m) reproductions has been gathered together and relocated for a month to Barra da Tijuca, close to the site of the athletes village for the 2016 Olympic Games.
