Thirty years since the death of Elis Regina, also known as 'The Hurricane', the CCBB brings together a collection of some 200 photographs of the singer, along with interviews, posters, television appearances and original tickets, in a huge retrospective of a genuine MPB goddess. Taken from family archives and donations from her army of fans, the collection harks back to the '60s and a decade in which she dominated the airwaves and television screens with her unique take on classic sambas, and hits alongside such greats as Gilberto Gil and Tom Jobim. Her 1974 album Águas de Março remains a classic of the bossa nova genre, making this an essential visit for fans of a golden era for Brazilian music.
