British artist Andy Goldsworthy, known globally for his huge sculptures using natural materials in such out of the way places as the Australian Outback and the North Pole, talks about his remarkable career in 'land art'. His determination to work with nature, be it icicles, pine cones, twigs or leaves, made him a natural choice for the forthcoming Outras Ideias Para o Rio project, which will turn several sites in the city - from Centro to Praia do Diabo - into open-air art museums. Goldsworthy will discuss the environment and the artistic process, as well as his participation in the OiR project.
