Bringing a touch of São Paulo style to Botafogo's drinking options, Meza couples together great food and drink with a unique ambience that is a rare find in Rio. Neatly-lit and with - gasp - decent house music in the background, Meza eschews the boteco in favour of something altogether classier. The potinhos of food including a the tangy lemon risotto (R$24) are delicious, and the cocktails are something to shout about.
