Nightcap classic with hearty snacks
Unpretentious and accordingly popular with the local bohemian set, there's a friendly feel to proceedings at Simplesmente, and its a good bet for late night Santa Teresa drinks and snacks. The black bean soup is the clear favourite, best consumed on one of the hillside's cooler evenings along with some live samba de raiz (roots samba), every Wednesday from 9pm. The R$2 cover charge is a steal for the let-it-all-hang out atmosphere and dancing that ensues.
