Join the Rio elite in the city's most stylish bar, located - where else? - in its most stylish hotel
As you might expect from a bar in the hotel famous for hosting guests such as Madonna and Gisele, the Fasano's Baretto Londra is not for the faint of wallet. Should you feel like splashing out, however, you will be rewarded with exquisite cocktails in one of Rio's most upmarket drinking dens. Follow the translucent tunnel lined with white linen curtains and be whisked away into another world, one of dark leather seating, Union Jack flags (with cheeky red, white and green colouring in homage to the owner's native Italy) and old album covers from classic British bands. In fact they all belong to Rogerio Fasano, who created the bar in a tribute to his favourite city and in the model of its São Paulo cousin, voted the best bar in the world by swanky Wallpaper magazine. Reserve a table early to avoid disappointment.
