Perfect for grabbing a quick bite or juice on your way to or from the beach, the counter at Beach Sucos runs from left to right and front to back, making the all-important close contact with the server speed things along if need be. The usual tempting cheese and ham pies are stacked high and ready to go, but you can also grab a table on the street and take your time over a coffee and something more substantial, looking out on one of the more entertainingly hustle-and-bustly streets in Ipanema.
