18 screens of celluloid action and Brazil's newest IMAX theatre, now has VIP screens too
The cinemagoers cinema of choice, and the big daddy of Rio multiplexes since the addition of the 350-seat IMAX screen in 2011. Without a doubt the place to catch the latest films with all the necessary techno-wizardry you can now expect, eighteen screens provide the entertainment to over 4,500 viewers, one of which is dedicated to the joys of 3D. Monday Mania means that all tickets (except 3D and IMAX) are R$7.
Inaugurated in November 2011, the addition of two De Lux screens makes for an even more absorbing experience for those with deep enough pockets. Set up in 2D and 3D versions, quaff a glass of sparkling and munch on popcorn drizzled in olive oil or a Parma ham and goat's cheese sandwich while Julia Roberts falls in and out of love with the wrong man for the umpteenth time.
