The annual Gay Film Festival gathers together 55 long and short films from around the world
Gathering the fictional and the factual, long and the short of the gay movie world into ten days of film festival action, three cinemas host the 2012 Rio Festival Gay de Cinema; Estação SESC Rio, Cine Cultural Justiça Federal and Instituto Cervantes. With a stronger lean towards national films than ever before, there are nonetheless entries from as far afield as Indonesia and ranging from romantic comedies to socio-political documentaries.
