Experience the rhythms of jonga and samba
Trapiche Gamboa is one of the most traditional of all the samba halls in Rio, showing the young pretenders in Lapa a thing or two about authenticity. That means even on a Tuesday night the dancefloor fills with local movers and shakers, getting down to the sounds of samba and jogo, the Angolan music to which samba owes much of its rhythm. The Grupo Razões Africanas lead the dance until late.
