Her Madge's love affair with Rio shows no sign of letting up, as the MDNA Tour touches down in Brazil in December
The Queen of Pop, Madonna Louise Ciccone, opens the Brazil leg of her tour in Rio in December for what will be only the third show here in her thirty year recording career. The venue is a little bit special too, being the inaugural show at the Olympic Parque dos Atletas (Athlete's Park), previously known as the Cidade do Rock thanks to the mighty Rock in Rio held on the very same spot. On the back of a critically-acclaimed return to form in the shape of album 'MDNA' (complete with controversial drug references to keep the headlines backing up the PR assault), the woman who never really went away is most definitely back, her halftime Superbowl 2011 show amassing 114 million television viewers offering proof if any were needed. So snap up those tickets.
