When more than one band hits the same bill in Rio the promoters invariably tag it a 'festival' and hike the prices up accordingly. Not so tonight, though, as the radio friendly funk-lite of California's Maroon5 is nicely coupled together with a British band also behind some of the more hummable tunes of the last decade, Keane. Neither are any strangers to the city, either, so expect a merry throng at the cavernous HSBC Arena as the headliners continue to ride the wave of success that their 8 million-plus-selling single 'Moves Like Jagger' has brought them in all corners of the globe.

For their part, Keane have sold over 10 million copies of their three albums to date, meaning tonight looks set to be a battle of the singalong hits, with 'Everybody's Changing' by Keane singer Tom Chaplin going head-to-head with Adam Levine's monster ballad 'She Will be Loved' for the biggest lighter-in-the-air moment.
