The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) annual Festa Junina has developed a reputation for being one of the very best of the seasonal parties, full of drunk students looking out for love and good times. The traditional games - fishing, sack races, tug o' war and everything that any self-respecting fair should have - are present and correct, along with a mechanical bull, line dancing and lots and lots of quentão - the warm cachaça and apple combo that will reach the parts you didn't know existed.
