Rio's self-styled hostel party has upped sticks from Leblon's Melt club to the altogether sharper environs of 00, but that doesn't mean they don't know how to offer up a traveller-pleasing night out. Tourists from Brazil and all over the world descend on the weekly melange of live samba and party music, and with two hours of free caipirinhas thrown in it's no wonder that it soon gets pretty jumping. Live samba from Bom Batuque lights up the stage (and dancefloor) early on before the DJs step in with a little bit of everything from Brazilian pop and rock to hip hop and house.
