Another bout of house music and mayhem is afoot at Alto Vidigal this weekend courtesy of the RUN VDG crew. From São Paulo's famous D-Edge club comes DJ Lennox Hortale, whilst André Araújo, the man behind the massive Saturday night sessions at the sadly-departed Dama de Ferro club in Ipanema, and Botafogo Social Club's Doug Gray, step up to represent Rio.
Getting there: Getting to Alto Vidigal is all part of the adventure. From the foot of Vidigal take a moto-taxi or combi van almost to the very top of the hill, asking for arvrão (the big tree) if you need pointers along the way. Taxis may charge an extra fee.
