The most authentic Arabian treats in Rio
Authentically decked out in Middle Eastern finery, Amir's outdoor seating puts you in the heart of Copacabana's less sophisticated but always entertaining corner, whilst upstairs a spacious and welcoming dining room transports you away from all that this end of the neighbourhood holds. The falafel and kebabs are authentic, wrapped up in huge flat breads, the hummus is appropriately thick and creamy, and the lamb really is exceptional. Just don't go too overboard on the garlic sauce if you have any plans for after-dinner socialising.

Whoever wrote this review has obviously never been to a decent Arabic restaurant. Poor food, terrible service. There are lots of great restaurants in Zona Sul and this is definitely not one.
