The location is more spectacular than the food, so make your choice between country-house-style indoor eating or the Ewok Village-esque outdoors (including a great tree house) with stunning views across Guanabara Bay. The lamb shank is dependable, the breast of duck in plum and wine sauce doesn't disappoint, and the selection of national wines will reward the adventurous. Far from inexpensive and dishes vary in quality (avoid the sun-dried meat with rice), so order carefully. Taxi recommended.
