In a city where meat is king, Ráscals provides a little mecca of quality alternatives, from Italian antipasti to mediterranean salads, where the only barrier to the eating is your own appetite. The salad and antipasti bar is a thing of joy for anyone in need of a vitamin jolt, with forty different plates ranging from beef or tuna carpaccio to roasted vegetables and risottos, and of course as many different leaves as you will probably find under one roof.
The pasta bar is equally impressive, with over thirty different combinations of pastas, sauces and meats to choose between, all laid out before you to make the agony of choice even more painful. The buffet includes one pizza or pasta dish or you can order a la carte, but when the choice is this good, the opportunity to keep going back until fully sated is a little too hard to resist.
