One of the biggest malls in South America, a visit to Barra Shopping is a bit of an event in itself. Part of the New York City Centre since 2003, the complex has over 600 shops and 5,200 parking spaces, 18 cinema screens, a bowling alley and an estimated 35 million customers per year. Facts and figures aside, some of the city's most respected restaurants are also represented, including Antiquarius Grill, Garcia and Rodrigues and Zuka.
