The grand re-opening of the world's most famous football stadium sees Brazil take on England for the first match proper in the new Maracanã, closed since 2010 for building works ahead of the 2014 World Cup. Following their defeat in February at Wembley, Felipe Scholari's men will be keen to put on a better showing as part of their Confederations Cup preparations, the tournament that kicks off on 15 June in Brasília when Brazil take on Japan. Indeed, the famous yellow shirts of the seleção will only return to Rio for the Conefederations final. Presuming, of course, that they make it that far.
