Multi-functional space in Lapa
At Fundição you are as likely to encounter pre-carnival warm up shows as circus acts or legendary singers like Caetano Veloso recording their latest live DVD. The Intrépida Troupe provide the high-wire action, and their regular shows incorporate a mixture of African, European and Brazilian cultures, also offering classes during the week to wannabe acrobats. A shop operates Monday to Friday from 2pm to 7pm along with a café, but its at night time the place really gets going.
