The former mansion of one of São Paulo's coffee barons that is now the Museu da Casa Brasileira will be opening late every other Wednesday for visitas noturnas ('night visits'). The doors will stay open until 10pm, and attendees will have access to the permanent collection as well as the temporary exhibitions. These late-hour openings are a great chance for first-timers who are otherwise engaged during the day to visit the museum. And for those already familiar with the museum, the view of its back-lit 1940s mansion is a spectacular sight after dark. Best of all, admission is free after 6pm.
