Social Media Week (socialmediaweek.org) is a multi-city social networking conference, being hosted for the third time in São Paulo. It will be held simultaneously in 12 cities around the world, from New York to Tokyo, and is being organised by the über-connected Bia Granja – an events organiser, curator and social media butterfly – who’s also responsible for the social media part of this year's Campus Party (campus-party.com.br).
Social Media Week (SMW) gathers together some of the biggest names in the social media scene, from bloggers and tweeters to digital agencies and large corporations, from Brazil and abroad. Time Out has rounded up the best of the keynote talks in English, for which you'll need to register on socialmediaweek.org first. But, as event organiser Bia says, ‘the event will be be interesting even if you just hang in the lobby. There will be a lot of interesting people to talk to.’
