While academics are constantly on the lookout for any undiscovered connections between various movements, this exhibition at the Centro Brasileiro Britânico aims to explore the previously untouched parallel of influence and critical response existing between British constructivist artists and their Brazilian concretist contemporaries. Held in conjunction with the 30th São Paulo Bienal, the show displays works by Anthony Hill, Robert Adams, Peter Lowe, Alexandre Wollner, Alfredo Volpi, Gullar, Franz Wiessmann, Geraldo de Barros and Ligia Clark, as well as other major players like Helio Oiticica, Mira Schendal, Kenneth Martin and Victor Pasmore.

Part of a series of events being run or sponsored by the British Council as part of its Transform season, the show takes place at the British Centre (see listings below) and also at Dan Galeria (, in Jardins.
