This is the first ever exhibition at the brand new Hotel Galeria, located in a peaceful street in the heart of Jardins. The curator Daniella Samad launches the space by mixing up some of our very favourite things here at Time Out São Paulo: art and gastronomy. That’s why she has invited the chef Frederico Barroso, from restaurants Le Vin and Figurati, and the artists Richard Calhabéu and Renato Dib to take part in the show. The idea is to enable viewers to appreciate Calhabéu and Dib’s work in a experience that’s made up of multiple sensations. Dib’s work in this show consists of embroidered fabric panels inspired by human skin, while Calhabéu shows colourful portraits and ceramic sculptures. Weekly cocktail parties with drinks created by Barroso will help viewers bridge the gap between food and art.
