If you’re into edgy, technological art – what: you aren’t? – MIS is the place for you this March. LABMIS, an incubator project by the MIS (Museum of Image and Sound), shows works from artists taking part in the museum’s artists’ residency. You can expect videos and installations, like Le Chants des Sirènes by Cláudio Bueno. The video installation shows how Bueno created a tribute to eight women who died during the two Great Wars while working on broadcasting ships in Canada.
(What: you didn’t know about this? Also, you haven’t been watching `Bomb Girls’? What? Don't worry. Carry on. Stay calm.)
Note that if you should find yourself in Québec’s port with your iPhone (you need an app), you can tune in to the, erm, app, to hear contemporary singers singing songs to remind us of those women.
