The young project Risco ('Risk') – this is its first edition – was organised with the idea of offering space to artists who aren't represented by galleries. The theme for this exhibition is ‘art as work’, and brings together pieces from six artists: André Ricardo, André Yassua, Christiana Moraes, Edith Reinhartm, Luiz83 and Marco Willians. It might seem clichéd to say, but all the work in this exhibition does indeed look quite fresh – especially pieces like André Ricardo’s surreal pool illustration and André Yassuda’s meteor-like sculpture.
