SP-Arte is a sprawling carnival for art fans: lasting four days, involving 109 galleries and boasting an international collection of artworks from cutting edge artists housed within the 15,000 square metres of the Bienal building. The fair welcomes everyone who’s interested in art, but this is not merely an exhibition – it’s a serious place for artists to show, curators to sell and collectors to buy.

Besides the major Brazilian galleries like Nara Roesler, Galeria Vermelho and Choque Cultural, 23 international ones like Elvira Gonzalez (from Spain), Anita Beckers (from Germany) and Yvon Lambert (from France) will also be showing the best pieces from their most celebrated artists.

This event offers the public a unique opportunity to see a huge variety of works from new artists, to discover more about collecting and the Brazilian and Latin American art market.
