The after-show bar of choice for musicians
This bar is owned by the Altman brothers, who opened their first Vila Madalena bar in 1980 and dedicated it to choro music. Since then the bar, once called the Clube do Choro and now known as Filial, has moved around the area, but it’s still the after-show bar of choice for local musicians. You can't go wrong with a chope, but there’s an impressive list of caipirinhas too – try the cachaça with lima da persia (lime), find a table outside, and watch the Vila Madalena wildlife wander by.
