Well worth a look for a blowout weekend breakfast, Pain et Chocolat sets out a good spread of fruits, breads, cheeses and pastries, all for a set price of R$32.90 (8.30am-2pm). Choose your table strategically, either within arm's length of the buffet table or on the terrace outside, and order up some eggs and crêpes too. If you’re popping by for a coffee, try the chocolate croissant (R$3.50) or the Maria Fernanda (R$8.90) – a chocolate mousse with banana crème brûlée.
