Press Release
Uma Thurman in 'Kill Bill'

This event has finished

Complementing the Cinemateca's summer movie season nicely, the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB) presents the Mondo Tarantino festival, in which Quentin Tarantino’s entire oeuvre will be screened (apart from his newest, Django Unchained), as well as films that inspired his career, such as Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver and Stanley Kubrick’s The Killing.

And if you're a Tarantino purist, you won't want to miss the back-to-back screenings of Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 on 16 March – the director originally shot the revenge saga as one film rather than two.

  • Pulp Fiction 20 February, 7.30pm. 23 February, 5pm.
  • Jackie Brown 28 February, 5pm. 2 March, 8pm.
  • Reservoir Dogs 6 March, 7pm. 17 March, 8pm.
  • Kill Bill Vol. I 8 March, 3pm. 16 March, 5.50pm.
  • Kill Bill Vol. II 8 March 5.30pm. 15 March, 5.30pm. 16 March, 8pm.
  • Inglourious Basterds 10 March, 4pm. 15 March, 7.30pm.
