Staged for one of the biggest New Year’s Eve parties in Brazil, Avenida Paulista will play host to Minas Gerais favorites, Jota Quest and their dance-friendly pop-rock. If the expected public is as large a turnout as last year’s, at least 2.4 million people will sing along with the headliner’s past hits and tracks from the band’s latest album, Quinze. Like any other massive free event, plan to arrive well in advance to secure yourself a spot somewhere along the crowded street. On the same stage, platinum-certified rockers Ultrage a Rigor, sertanejo duo Rionegro & Solimões, Restart, conductor João Carlos Martins, Roberta Miranda and KLB also perform.
