Relive the golden years of the paulista punk momevent with the first concert of new Madame. At the same house that hosted the first chords of so many bands – including Mercenárias – tonight débuts the night Skull, set to take place every Saturday.
Mercenárias, a band formed by girls in 1983, with brief participation by Edgard Scandurra on the drums, was a great example of the São Paulo punk sound. Rosália, Sandra, Lou and Ana continued playing together during the 1980s, having released two albums: Cadê as Armas? from 1986, and 1998's Trashland. After the last one, they split and each member followed her own different path. In 2005, the band reunited – kind of, as only Rosália and Sandra returned to the band for some concerts. With this new line-up, Pitchu Ferraz took over the drums and Vanessa Menegaldo, took over guitar duties. After a few shows, Rosália left the band and the mic was passed to Sandra.
These four ladies of rock perform tonight, reigniting the basement of Madame Satã, almost thirty years after their first show. An unmissable trip back in time.
