Following a string of down-and-dirty parties in increasingly interesting venues in late-night São Paulo – think high-rise terraces, semi-abandoned buildings, and out on the street – the Voodoohop roving clubnight is heading out of town for its annual mini-fest.
At a farm near the centre of Vargem Grande Paulista, a city 40km away from São Paulo, Voodoohop's resident DJs join guest DJs to make sure the annual special stays true to the reputation of the all-year-round parties, with their easy-going atmosphere and eclectic, highly danceable music. The line-up includes the German DJs Jo Ke and DJ NU, the latter from Berlin, where he plays at clubs like the Katerholzig.
Away from the dancefloor, theres's a chance to chill out with teas and juices, and even a massage, in a special tent complete with video projections by Ton Candido. Look out for the maze of candles to light your way.
