Chef Flávio Miyamura
This event has finished
Take a talented chef, a bucolic setting and a menu comprised entirely of local produce and you’ve got all the ingredients for Gastronômade – the Brazilian version of the US locavore movement ‘Outstanding in the Field’.
Back for its third year, with six banquets planned across six different states, Gastronômade goes down a glam route in its choice of venues rather than the rustic farm setting favoured by its US counterparts. São Paulo’s banquet will be hosted in the luxury country hotel, Fazenda Catuçaba, around 200km from the city en route to the state's northern coast.
Manning the pans will be the young chef Flávio Miyamura, who opened his São Paulo restaurant Miya, in 2012.
R$285 per person (includes drinks), with an optional R$50 transfer to and from São Paulo
Date Sat 22 Mar 2014
