O Descotidiano at SESC Pompeia

Translated literally as ‘undaily life’, O Descotidiano is a poetic, solo performance set in a fantastical world created by Cia. do Relativo’s Otavio Fantinato. Serving as a metaphor for the overwhelming daily demands we face, this circus number puts our constant struggle to juggle things in perspective – literally and figuratively. A solo clown attempts to reveal the stress and fatigue of a routine-filled life by juggling everyday objects in a way that is comical, and at times ironic, and even sad. The performance is family-friendly, and will ring true for many members of the audience, familiar with the punishing pace of life in São Paulo.
